I am planning to go to outdoor cinema tonight. I will be wrapping up warm and waterproof.
Nothing like a bit of Pretty Woman and a couple of cans in the rain.

I caught public transport this eve..... got to Brixton tube, no vic line.
Got on a bus.
Met mates for dinner.
Coming home, a number 3 to 'crystal palace' - terminated Kennington. Another number 3 Kennington to Brixton tube, terminates again.... at which point I decide best to walk home. Should have cycled. Would have been just as wet/dry. -

Had to cycle from Old Street to Uxbridge at about 1:30am, with a bike with one pair of brakes, rear brakes, rod brakes. Interesting to say the least.

Rain and tube strike to face first thing in the morning... just can't wait... cycle or so called public transport?? Very frustrating!

rain poncho, mudguard, and bicycle.
regardless of how wet it is today, it's still a lots easier to simply ride a bike.
There's no shame in looking like a tent.

Couldn't agree more Ed... but a combination of new road surface and plenty of water is like an ice skating ring as well as wet clothes and plenty of salt embedded in all those nice campy bit. Oooh forgive me... I am being a whinging ole git...

What would be your reasons for not cycling? Surely not rain?

Yes, I shouldn't surrender to the great British elements, but recently came off my bike on Blackfriars road south bound just before the bridge and went flying onto the pavement...
What would be your reasons for not cycling? Surely not rain?

Ouch!, I hope you're okay mate, nothing like being back in a warm home after that incident.
Don't you have another bike that you don't care about to ride in the winter?
