I could be wrong, but I think you're really better off buying a frame first and building it up.
Most things that will be for sale will have been built up by the owner and they will probably put a high premium on their time and effort in putting it together.Plus it's more fun doing it yourself and sourcing quality parts (as long as you've got some patience)

I've got one. It's a 1930s Sunbeam - funky bars (could be Lauterwasser), Brooks Champion Standard saddle, Resillion brakes and all that - in decent condition, but I have to warn you that it's been given a (professional) respray in purple! I was intending to re-do it again in the classic black with white mudguards, but maybe you can give it a better home. Get in touch for more details, photos etc. if interested.
