I have the gore road ones on the road bike, they are really smooth, no problems to date.
Fiddly to set up but great in use.
May try the new professional version next but at present no hurry to do so as working perfectly. Just v v smooth.
I had used dura ace cabling before, not really a great deal of difference though these are slightly smoother. (but then I am comparing with my memory of the old cables atthe end of their life)
