I'm going to get to polo early tonight, about 5:30, so I can warm up and remember how to use my mallet etc...

Also just so you all know, tonight is going to be my last session for 2 weeks as I have freshers events every day/evening from this Saturday until Wednesday 13th. So if you wonder what's happened to me, I haven't forsaken you, I will be coming back, but you only get one freshers... ;-)

has anyone tried to get the cambridge evening news to do an article on bike polo?

My friend James is in PR and wanted to try to get some exposure for Cambridge Polo but I didn't really know how it would benefit us. Might be an idea to raise awareness I guess, leverage for better courts. I don't know really?

did we ever try spoke carding/flyering? would be nice to do this tied into a tourney we could hold on our home turf somewhere, like the barn dance type thing. that would be so cool, but the logistics...the mind boggles.

Feb's roller derby team had a two page feature on them in the CEN , not sure how much that helped .I am inclined to agree that, the sorry paper is run by a bunch of fascists .
