Is this the Johnny with the red lopro that came in to The Bristol Bike Project last week to build this up and got the Campag BB and and Shimano crankset (via the generousity of G-Bitch) from the Bike Project?

If so then it may appear that there's been some sort of misunderstanding about the aims of the (volunteer run) workshop sessions and the give and take approach to getting components (which we're happy for people to reuse and get life out of and welcome small donations in exchange to help pay the rent as we get zero funding).

If not then accept my apologies in advance for the mixup.

Id be more than willing to make a donation if you have some sort of paypal address I can do that. I have taken the aende off the classifieds and I am going to keep it, I can still just about ride it. I was planning on donating the next time I went round. Anyway let me know and sorry for acting like a fuck.

'sorry for acting like a fuck' is an apology of sorts, insofar as it goes some way to absolving the smidgeon of guilt you might be feeling. it would make a lot more sense as an apology if you didn't set out in the first place to haplessly fleece one community of cyclists by buying their stuff, then selling it at a huge mark-up to another very similar community of cyclists in the next city. you've made a clusterfuck of covering your tracks and now are hoping an apology will solve matters.

all of which i can take or leave or guess probably even accept your apology and see it as some kind of really stupid error of judgement. but your attitude to the bike project is off the planet. 'i was planning on donating next time i went round' is so lame. maybe you were planning on signing the petition at the same time, whilst picking up some more bits to then sell elsewhere to schmucks at a huge mark-up. grab those freebies from parochial bristol and sell them to the hipsters in london's famous london.

you should give that stuff back. and make a donation. and build someone a bike to get to work on. that's an apology right there.
