Woking would be best as only 5 easy country miles from Ripley, go via Old Woking Rd to Pyrford
good hunting when you get there!! -

Usually I cycle it from London- it's quite a nice journey if you leave early enough and head through Richmond Park and Esher... The lanes around Wisley are really pretty and well worth it!

I'll be going. I'll head from Guildford out past Clandon/A24. If you go that way there are nice coffee stops on the top of Newlands Corner.

does anyone know if this is starting at 9 or 10 am?
Trains from waterloo are every 5 to 10 min and the journey to Woking is 25 min and Ripley is only a 5 miles ride.
tickets are £11.30 return.
Im still probably going to ride the whole way though. -

Thanks for the heads up, have booked my train for 7.30 from Waterloo to Woking and thus should be there at about 8.30. Anyone from LFGSS with a stall there?

Come on Skully, you know you want to...
Offer: To everyone else that needs parts, send me a PM with the parts you need (a wheel or two should be alright but not a whole bike) and with a phone number to and a price, will MMS you the pics and confirm if you want it.

It's not only about the goods, it was a pleasant sunny ride and plenty of nice chat with the traders for me :) Found a guy with at least 8 sets of french threaded Campy BB cups, most NOS or near perfect! Now to find my Pug frame! LOL!

Cheaper than the train fare!

8 quid return on a young traveller's card. Good bike ride + plenty of sun paid the bill :D
Got a free 12T cog too, small crack on one of the tooth, thus might just convert it to a key chain!

Is anyone going to the jumble on sat by bike from central london?
I think it might start at 9am so you would have to leave early. its 35 miles from my home so I might take the train from waterloo or london bridge to guildford or woking. just looking for the best way to get there.
