Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
** I will be at the LFGSS Track Day at Herne Hill next Saturday, the 11th September and can bring items for collection there **
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

SID MOTTRAM MIXTE BIKE c1970s/80s
Seat Tube (ctt): 49.5cm (19.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
This is a very pretty (and really quite small) mixte framed bike in really rather nice condition that just needs a good clean. It has Lyotatd 460D aluminium rattrap pedals, 165mm TA cranks and SunTour gears combined with a very good Brooks B17 sadle and Weinmann rims and centre-pull brakes. £125

MOTOBECANE MONACO MIXTE BIKE 1970s
Seat Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Wheel size: 700C
Frame-tubing: Vitus double butted tibing
This is a rather good mixte type framed bike from the 1970s which has mostly original equipment in pretty lightly used condition. It’s fitted with SR stem SR engraved Randonneur bars, SR chainset, Huret gears, I think Weinmann centre-pull brakes and good quality aluminium rimmed wheels. £125

PEUGEOT PX10 ROAD FRAME c1982/3
Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57.5cm (22.75in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: sprint/700C with 50mm brake drop
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
This is one of the last classic PX10 road frames to be come from the Peugeot factory - its built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing in metric dimensions. I will include the Stronglight bottom bracket in with the frame - and the buyer has the option to purchase the front and rear gears and stem for an extra £20. Its in excellent condition with near perfect chrome and pearl white paint with only a few marks. It would be an excellent basis for a very cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £165

ORBIT GOLD MEDAL TOURING FRAME 1985
Seat Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 58mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Orbit Gold Medal touring frame dates from 1985 is in very sound condition - the paint is generally excellent with just a little rust staining and few marks. Orbit Gold Medals were highly rated touring frames in the 1980s. £95

CLAUD BUTLER CRESTA ROAD FRAME 1978/9
Seat Tube ctc: 22in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 65mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
The Cresta was Claud Butler’s entry level frame/bike in the late 1970s which featured 531 forks. This frame I think dates from 1978/9 and would make an excellent and smart budget conversion. £65

RALEIGH 501 ROAD FRAME 1988 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
I have two of these frames:
Seat Tube (ctt): 59cm (23.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 501
AND
Seat Tube (ctt): 62cm (24.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 501
These two Raleigh Reynolds 501 frames have never been used - the 23.5in one shown in the photograph has a few shopwear marks. The other one still has its factory wrapping so should be pristine. Raleigh 501 road frames are really rather nicely built and these are both rather cool frames ideal for fixed or singlespeed conversion. £95 each

SHORTER ROAD FRAME c1976/77
Seat Tube (ctt): 61cm (24in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57.5cm (22.75in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Shorter frame dates from the second half of the 1970s and has been nicely repainted and not used since. It has one small chip to the paint on the top tube but appears practically unmarked elsewhere. Good quality large frames such as this are not common and it would make a cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £125

PARIS CONDOR ROAD FRAME c1979
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 43mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
In the late 1970s Monty Young at Condors resurrected the Paris name and for quite a number of years frames were produced under the Paris name. This I think is one of their earlier frames and is really rather nice. It may well have been built by Tom Board as this was the period that Tom built frames for Condors. The chrome is not in very good condition but the frame is very useable as it is and would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £95

SHOGUN COMP ROAD FRAME 61cm c1995
Seat Tube: 58cm (centre to top of seat tube) 54.5cm (ctc)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: 7005 Aluminium alloy
Bottom Bracket Threads: English
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is an extremely nice and light mid 1990s aluminium frame which has hardly been used. It is very light and is in very good condition with just a few marks to the paint. A bargain at £69

NO-NAME ROAD FRAME c1988 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
This new old stock road frame almost certainly dates from the late 1980s and is built from a mid-range tubing set such as Columbus Aelle judging by its seatpost size. Its really quite nicely built and the red paint is virtually unmarked - there are only a couple of very insignificant marks. Its geometry and clearances are pure road bike. It will make an excellent fixed or singlespeed conversion. £89
