saw this accident too, on the way to work. Bike on its side on the road was a silver road bike, coudn't see what make, not sure if this was the accident victims or a helpers as it was quite far away from the main scene. Fingers crossed that the person pulls through and is ok!
And take care on the roads today everyone, its one of those days where drivers are acting crazy.

+1 rode in with fluff this morning, a lot of mental vans around today and other mad shit, people overtaking like crazies.
Hope the rider turns out to be OK. This is yet another really upsetting thread.

Too Right! What the fuck is going on today!?!? Everybody seems to be driving like freaking idiots! There were TWO accidents on Kennington Park Road this morning at different times, one involving a bike and another involving a motorbike (i think), with the road closed off in both directions.
What i don't get is that when you are on a bike and see that kind of shit, it makes you ride extra safe, but when motorists see it, they seem to think i am going to drive like a twat to make up for my delay, and cause a few more bad accidents!?!?

have to agree the crazies were out in force today
was having to be very assertive to stop people who wanted to overtake me just so they could get to red lights or the bumper of the car in front of me
struggle to understand if the average driver can see past the next car length in front of themselves

This one. :(
Just went past Ludgate Circus ten minutes ago. Looks like a rider has been hit by a left turning lorry. Paramedics were working on the guy still - didn't look good. The guy was in shorts - didn't get a look at the bike or any other details.
Hope he's not too badly hurt.
EDIT: according to other people, it may have been a woman - i obviously didn't get a good look... either way - hope the person isn't too badly hurt
