Its completely the wrong direction to take this topic, because it inevitably makes it about race..........
I don't remember who made this about race, But if my highlighting my experiences in the Caribbean or Africa was taken to be about race, then that's a shame. My grandad was white, of Scottish and French descent.
I only made comment about places I have some familiarity with. The colour of the people made no difference I think. The mindset regarding discipline is universal across social stratas there.
I think percentages and statistics can be misleading in crime comparisons. A total figure of three murders is small......especially when compared to neighbour countries/islands. It is high in percentage terms, but we're still talking about a total number of three.
