When my 4 year old sister drew all over the newly painted walls the day before my christening my parents made her stand in front of her artwork for the whole party to hide it, bit of good ol' humiliation. But yeah, things were pretty laid back on the discipline front. We had a naughty step and stuff, occasional smacking.
