Home made frames

When you get the tubes, are they pre shaped or do you just get a batch of tubes and work them to get the required shapes?

Shapes???
1) Yes I do miter the tubes.
2) No I dont bend the tubes, quality heat treated tubes are not bendable.

Usualy the chainstays and seatstays come prebent.
