I'm assuming OT in a For Sale thread means Off Topic, anyway, this is my brother's Canon 5D MK I. Comes with charger, one canon and two non canon batteries.

He's happy to meet you to show the camera in East London, but has sold all his lenses so you will have to bring your own.

I'm staunchly Nikon but have been looking at what I can get as a second body/body to have a tele lens on and because I also need to buy the lens so compatibility isn't an issue I'm tempted by the 5d mk1.
Girlfriends got one so I'm familiar with it/know how great it is and the same money buys you bugger all in the way of a half decent 2nd hand Nikon body. The D700 is lower res and I haven't seen one for much under a grand.

It does but I just had to increase my ram and add some external hardrives to my imac so funds are running pretty low right now.
I fear I may have to wait until I get some travel expenses back from SAAS till I can afford anything.

Just bought one a few days ago at about 700,- incl batterygrip and 28-135 is usm.
Not to keen on the lens, but couldnt let it pass at that price.
Havent tested it to see its full potential yet, but I'm really, really pleased so far.
So, free bump for a great camera at a very reasonable price.
