I was planning on using DT Aerolites for my roadie wheels. But could'nt really afford them right now and am impatient. I've therefore ordered some Pillar spokes which have nearly the same dimensions (2.2x0.95 central section as opposed to 2.3x0.9), are basically the same weight (probably 12grams heavier for a 44 spoke wheelset), but cost less.
Pillar XRS X-TRA 1442
Both the DT aerolites and the Pillar spokes have slightly shorter shoulders than CX-rays (6.8mm as opposed to 7.0mm). So they should make for a more snug fit in my Tune hub flanges.
I'll post back with my personal (and unqualified) opinion of the spokes.
