I guess the forum has grown up in a way.... a post like amey's "flat-mates" post a few years ago would have involved ridicule, assaults, insults, general raping and pillaging... but probably be forgotten about the next day as someone else did something silly :)
As Cornelius said, it 100% helps to goto some of the drinks and get to know actual people on the forum... then you'll get forgiven for worse ;)
