• All depends how heavy you are......I'm 75kg and have never noticed a problem with a rear disc on busy dual carriageways. But under 65kg and I would imagine its deadly !

    You might just get a 650 rear track disc, which would be symmetrical. I've seen the odd one over the years. But you'll be lucky to get a 650 front. Very rare these days.

    I would not try a disc wheel in high winds but in calm or average winds I don't feel any problem. Maybe it is more critical when you are on the aero bars? With a bullhorn I have more lateral control.
