Wouldn't that be nice though? "Well officer, we came around the corner and saw that man over there - the one in the bloody crumpled and badly-folded heap - assaulting this chap. As you can see, we used minimum force, but he was most vicious and regrettably it was entirely necessary to beat the living shite out of him and his friends".
