Just listened to the audio book of World war Z after reading it, as I kind of thought voice acting for the contributors in the book from various nationalities would flesh out the book a bit, you know, bitter russian soldier, bitter american soldier, etc...
It's a little hammy. However, the noise that happens during the chapter changes is truly terrifying, it sums up the book in 2 seconds, kind of like a nuclear winter whoooooooooooo noise, with the added distant threat of a horde of (Romero/Fulci style) zombies on the horiozon.
