soak it in ammonia - it worked on my seatpost once. Not sure of the princicple though - i think it needs to be two different types of metal that have bonded so if your pedal axle and crank is the same it might not work.
Oooo, Where do you get ammonia from? I have no idea what metals they each are but the pedals have rusted far more than anything else on the bike.

Dark polo ftw!
Probably one more week at QR then we'll look at using Peckham CP.To those whom have joined the league, lets get some extra practice in and get you used to your teams as there are only a few weeks to go. Or even some solo polo to develop your own skill level. All the top teams are practicing and we should be too!
South polo on tonight at Newington. Get there early as the lights are currently out too.polo polo polo.

Also Re: the league, hopefully you're all keeping an eye in the lpc threads, but just a heads up to say that there's a chance helmets will be compulsory, so you may need one.
I have small one size 53ish someone can have.Protection is a good idea, not just for the league, and as ever there are discussions and great advice out there.

harware stores and maybe boots even have Ammonia.
some how you are going to need to soak it...so a seatpost is easy as you just turn it upside down and stick it in through the bottle cage holes.......pedals might be tougher to soak
according to Sheldon Ammonia desolves alluminium oxide...so there would need to be some of that...probably bound to stell/cromo.

Thanks for making me casually welcome, most of you.
Anyone is welcome and it was nice to have an experienced player there.
It might be nice to have 'guest appearances' from experienced players to show some skill and offer advice.
Thanks for taking the time to help people and for your patience with the pace of the game.
Feel free to pop down anyone!

yeah, was good to see some of the techniques used and what we are aiming for....if a little intimidating! The backhand (across the front wheel) left leg off the pedal for example
I find the positioning the most interesting though - a lot of us down there seem to run into dead ends fairly often - mostly out of an inability to control the ball and *not *look down.
Thanks for the bike offer too, in lieu of a 14mm socket!

hey no worries man, you'd be welcome to use it.

Apologies for spamming but it would be good to see some more faces at the courts meeting.

I don't have access to that forum. Can I have access if I'm not a paid up member?

Nope I'm afraid not.
It's only £5 to join though so not much to support/have input on the future of London polo

In tomorrow, jp at souths said the artists left the car park last Friday... So QR until dark then the Peckham car park (then SE drinks) ? :)

Sandy, it's possibly easiest to just let me or Ed know if you want to come and we'll chuck your name down. You could pay the £5 when you turn up and I'll get you added to the mailing list and forum. I'll also buy you a pint, can't say fairer than that...
It's on the 5th of October, 7.30pm at the Horseshoe

Sweet!
Or straight to PCP so people do go home in between?
Or, there might actually be cars there early doors?Lets see what the weather's doing perhaps.
indoor polo ftw!
-
• #722
So is it QR or Peckham? Either would be alright for me, just need at least 1/2 an hour notice as I will be shooting down from New Cross.
-
• #723
Are there any that don't really know where the car park is? Thought meeting at QR as usual and then going to Peckham at sun down would be a good way to guide anyone who's unsure of the car park's location (like me ;-)
Otherwise I don't really mind.

Yep that's probably a good idea to play QR first and then show people where it is, but it's not hard to find.
As I said, lets wait and see what the weather is doing first and discuss tomorrow.
I guess it was worth it....Super Bees!!
