HELL YEAHHHH!!! But I am not interested at all, there are much nicer wheels around for much less :P
It would have been nice had you stepped up and said that you know XXXXXX and will give him a talking to or help out when the whole hoo-ha was happening instead of trying to protect someone who IS not in the best spirit of the forum by keeping silent.
Guilt by association? You might argue so (which has been suggested below, and I agree is acceptable in your case, read further), but by not speaking up when you had the chance to, you are an accomplice to a crime :)
Remember the Rules thread, the Classifieds & Shopping thread is in the fashion of the wild wild west, and as far as I know, perception counts more than anything else, maybe even how you look, and you trying to defend a known outlaw makes you a prime target.
Btw, I will give you the fiver you dropped off the asking price if I am to make a close to 150 quid purchase, a fiver would not be much of a difference
