A lovely, sweet and indiosyncratic film, JAHtim. Well done.
'Unfortunately the freewheel was invented, and it was downhill from there' made me laugh! Indeed, it's a lot easier to go downhill with a freewheel.

Ace, that's actually the first real footage of the tweed run I've seen, in some ways it wasn't what I expected at all.
Really liked the bit about the gent with the paratroopers bike.

Lovely video, I got a really good feel for the event. Saw quite a few people that I recognised too! The paratrooper bike story was interesting.

Greetings,
Give thanks Digger.
I have just had an e-mail from head tweedmeister at Dashing Tweeds who said 'really excellent film, love it'.
A friend in tweed is a friend indeed...

Greetings folks,
I know counting the pennies is in vogue at present what with the economy, public spending cuts and the general fall of Babylon...
On that tip, I thought you would like to know that the budget for this film was a massive £11.30.
For the auditors/ paperclip counters that was as follows - £6.30 for a travelcard, £5 for a taxi ride - this was for Joe to carry his camera kit.
Thanks for the good vibes shout Ade. As Rasta it is love to our friends and more love to our enemies... As it says in the film, there is so much more to Rasta than just dreadlocks and ganja...
Peace and Love everytime,
Tim -

Tim, that is a lovely video! I laughed aloud at some bits, I didn't see that the wee girl had her number all the way down her back, and Jim's insight was hilarious. I even learned a bit about what a Rasta is - thank you.
I think you're in the Tweed Run movie as well...

Thats a lovely film.
Greetings folks,
I have made a short (13 minute) film with a friend Joe.
It is called ‘ Peace and Love-ly Tailoring’. It is a pro-cycling, health film made by a Rasta man using the backdrop of the Tweed Run.
