For Sale: Moulton Mini & Mixte Frame 47cm

Seat Tube is 38cm CT
If there was a top tube id say it would be about 51cm CC
Size wise id say it would suit someone around 5foot

Built a new bike up for my girlfriend so her old one is up for sale. Almost new tyres and tubes (probally done about 15miles). Runs ok but could do with new bolts on the saddle clamp as the current ones are pretty badly sheared. It was a while ago but i remember there was some wear to the threads on the rear axle which made adjusting the cones on the hub difficult. Bell not included!

Never built this up but apparently it takes 27" wheels. The distance between dropouts on the forks is 90mm. The rear drop outs appear to be slightly bent but you can fit in 126mm spaced wheel as is. It comes with a BB which isnt in the photo.

as an aside on your other thread about the midi tyres not fitting the rims I had exaxctly the same problem last years fixing my friends bike, the fricking tyres are 10mm smaller dia than they should be on an imperial 14'' bike wheel...metric I think 288mm and should be 298mm...what a fucking 'joke' I was really pissed off with the lack of whatever it is to gbe good...the world is so more fucked than we actually realise...

Is the moulton a runner or does it need parts to help it along?

I spent a small fortune (£17!!!!!!) on a brompton seat clamp (to fix the problem noted above) because it was all evans had & I wanted one immediately.

Consequently £45.

Right, after getting a good few other bikes in the household this has sadly sat in a corner un-used.

So, it's up for sale again, this time from Dalston.

The rear axle is however either shot or in need of re-threading. Not clued up on it so don't want to promise anything. Looks like a standard axle though so wouldn't think it's too hard to find a new one. The saddle will need a pop rivet too, one of it's corners is loose

Pickup tonight or tomorrow night, or after the weekend. Still think £40 is a fair price, it'll make a great little bike when you get it running
