I have and have had a few internet enabled phones, that I get for free on a £20 a month contract.
I just don't see that even an almost £500 phone can really be that much better than what I get for free.
I'm not saying you shouldn't buy them if you want to but it seems that all you people paying half a grand for a phone are getting ripped off a little bit.
I had an 'internet-enabled phone' on a £15 a month plan too.
It's basically unusable compared to the swathe of smartphones coming out now.
Why do you think there's such a massive boom in smartphone use? Because for people who do a lot online they're frickin' useful. Sure, I'd like them to be cheaper but it's still only early days for a lot of this stuff.
