For Sale: iPhone 3G 8gb - £110 ono

To start, im going to be completely honest about the phone, ive had it for about 2 years, never used a case (which i regret as i might me able to make a bit more money today haha) but this means it is showing some significant wear.

It is a standard iPhone 3G 8gb. It works perfectlly as a phone/ipod/iOS platform and i have been using it without any problems, i just bought an iPhone 4 so i can easily convert this spare 3G into cash.

It is currently running 3.1.2 software (spoofed to saying its running 3.1.3) and is unlocked to any network through a jailbreak. (it is originally locked to O2). The jailbreak software works well and comes with installous so you can download any app for free

However, after the years of use, it does have
-a cracked front glass panel (lcd and touchscreen still work 100% ok)
-a snapped and unresponsive silent button stuck on silent (i have overcome this by using an app called autosilent which can overide the silent button and you can switch between the 2 modes easily using SBsettings)
-rear casing which is quite scratched and has a crack by the dock connector and on the right side a vertical crack about 2cm long (none of this affects performance whatsoever)

comes with charger, headphones and all the original manuals

it really would! at the end of the day its still an iphone :)

I bought a replacement silent switch off the bay for a couple of quid and fixed it myself - you could do the same with the screen and hey presto you've got yourself a (nearly) good as new phone.
It's not too tricky either, you just a bit of patience.

Anyone else interested in this? I bought this today but have discovered that I don't need it. Its as Swedeee describes. I paid £110 but open to offers.
