oo very posh, sorry dude was just interested/confused by the sticker. I'm just annoyed because it is exactly my size and I love triple triangle frames, yet I cannot afford such splendor..

fleet heh.
I'm 5'11" ffs!Maybe something small and whippy for Bicycle Basketball, a new sport I'm thinking of inventing.
Actually would look nice with my GF on it. But no I'm not buying her a frame worth more than any of mine.

If you had one as nice as this thread was originally selling then yeah. I would probably snap it up.

I literally brought down my Orrell last night from my parents'.
531 designer select. Blue downtube/toptube/forks/stays, yellow seat and headtube. I specced a drilled Fork as I thought Neil's clearances were a bit tight for an outdoor track where you may have to use a road tub and I'd occasionally ride it on the road. -

Lightweight...are you selling it then?

Bit of a hijack....a friend is selling a full orrell road bike in a 60cm over on retrobikes... It's like brand new and a bargain... I would have had it, but I bought his orrell tourer of him instead!!

Yup normally get quite a lot of interest and positive comments, never hang around long.
Yours sounds very similar to mine, also blue downtube/toptube/forks/stays, yellow seat and headtube and drilled fork. Those are the team colours, is yours an ex team bike or did you spec those colours?

Thanks for the plugm stedlocks :-) I had naively assumed that road bikes would not be of much interest on this site. If it doesn't sell before I am a fully ordained lfgss member, then I will remove from Retro and post here. I am selling my uncle's collection for him, so have a number of frames (including 1971 Condor Baracchi, 1980 Holdsworth Professional) and bits and pieces that I am cleaning up and preparing for sale. Details are being updated regularly on http://tinyurl.com/3amnept for anybody that is interested.

I rode for the shop in 1997. I ordered the bike I have now for 1998 but I didn't ride for them that year though mine is still in team colours.
I hadn't thought about selling it but if I find a suitable replacement then why not. What do such frames go for on here?

PMd. So you rode for Team Orrell, awesome! Was it still sponsored by Granada TV then?

Yep. Lots of names on the shirt. BMW breakers too I seem to recall. I'm 99% sure I saw it on the weekend so if I shift this frame I'll lob in the Jersey too.
Doesnt the writing underneath say competition? My frame has the exact same sticker...
