I would encourage anyone interested in this to go to some of the other sessions as well. The league starts soon so try to play as much polo as you can if you're serious about it. They're all very welcoming and you'll learn some good stuff, but practice, practice and a bit more practice.
Solo polo is also a good idea as it team training.

any friday/weekend polo anywhere?

Mondays and Fridays are the only days which don't have a scheduled game on.

Weekend there is normally a game in the East at Downham, Mitch or Hackney Downs. I think there is often a game at Newington as well.

If my eye infection heals I might get to play this week.

Team registration for the closes closes TODAY so if you re thinking about sorting a team you need to get on the case.

You may or may not know that sourcing polo balls is a bit of a problem as the decent ones are only available in the states.
Crack Fox from Cambridge has managed to source 300 balls and is selling 4 for £10 which are virtually identical to the good ones.

So If you wan balls, get them while you can!

The first LHBPA courts meeting has been scheduled, please check the above thread for information.

If you can't access the thread it probably means you aren't a member of the LHBPA, please consider joining (it's only a fiver) and you could help to get a polo specific court built in London.

So who's down for tomorrow? I'll be there early again at about 5.30, maybe even before depending on if I can slip away when my boss/s is/are in a meeting.

I'm gonna try and build up a new polobike today but what is more likely to happen is that I end up with just several half bikes and nothing to play on. Dunno whether to bother that said, really want to play. Need cheering up.
