Canon DSLR repairs

It turns on but then drains the battery in a day or 2 (even if turned off). I read about the problem yours has but couldn't find anything about battery draining.

I bought it second hand so don't think I can warranty it. I might just open the thing up and see if there is something obviously wrong.

Try a new battery first, presuming you haven't already, as this will be the first thing a repairer will do. If the battery from a g11 fits I've got one you can borrow to see if its ok. Only if my other half doesn't take it when she goes away at the end of this week though.
