  • yours if you want them. have pm'd

  • Though worn, unless they're cracked they really quite good rims no?

  • no cracks, the fronts better than the rear. good rims yes, old, need care, got no use for them...

  • Noooooo i live in n19! lol. :(

  • is the wheelset still available? what size are they? I need 700c's and can pick up tomorrow if so.

  • interested and could possibly pick up tonight if still available

  • I raced on these wheels in the early 90's and they are bomb proof. I recently put a new cassette on them and they are as good as new. Mine are on Ultegra (1992) and Duraace (1992), 105's are fine too. Genuine good find for whoever picks these up!

  • wheels gawn. enjoy.

  • Are these on gumtree now?

  • they were picked up last night, so not them unless the guy trued and re-built them with new hubs and cassette, and then took day for night photos, all in the space of about 2 hours last night. they are great rims, were just a bit fucked and haven't got time to sort them out / space to keep spares. the chap said he was gonna put them on his everday bike.

Thanks for the wheels Iain. Yes, I am going to put them on my 1980 Peugeot PKN10 as the original Mavic Module E rims have been bent, straightened, bent again, straightened in the vice between blocks of wood, trued, bent again, I could go on...
Such is riding Islington to Chiswick most days (20 mile round trip), through the parks and along the river at Hammersmith...
I am quite good at building wheels/repairs but I am not sure if I could have rebuilt them that fast and got them to a photo studio to snap, and got them on Gumtree...
But thanks all for the confidence in my abilities... Slim
