They have a lot of faith in the observational powers of london's drivers.

That was the BFF one--'London Calling' was just the name that the director gave to it. Note that this week-end's events are called 'London's Calling'. I think 'London's Calling' only started in 2008? I may be wrong.

Oh, ok - it was on the London's Calling website so just assumed it was related. Still lunatics, though! I'm impressed and horrified in equal measures.

london calling website states it started in 2007...
*"What started back in the summer of 2007 as a pre-event for the Courier World Championships in Dublin is set to become an institution. Over £200 was raised for Emile (8-Ball) in the original 'Dash 4 Crash' when his foot got mashed up and then there was 'that' alleycat, probably now the most famous alleycat in the world thanks to Lucas Brunelle and the wonders of Youtube."

Got that wrong, then. The video claims it was filmed in 2006, though? I'm sure there's a simple explanation.

I crashed with someone in the Friday Alleycat, don't know who was or how it happened, just remember after waiting for the ambulance.
Anyone in here? -

I remember Brunelle came to the concran theatre for the first LBFF, he gave a short talk and they showed a his NY alleycat film.
That first year he filmed one in london, edited it quickly and showed it at the after party the same day as filming. you were there I think Oliver

Anyone in here?A few minutes after I saw it start I heard/saw a couple of ambulances razz down Mare Street and turn right towards Broadway Market...
Wasn't any serious crashes were there?
Sorry if this is posted somewhere on here, but I couldn't find it.
Just saw an AlleyCat start meters from my house just off Mare Street, looked like good fun!
I couldn't find this advertised on here anywhere. What was it and how do I find more events like this? I see the LondonFixedGear ones advertised on 14BikesCo that generally start in Soho etc but I work in Soho and it's well frowned upon by my work colleges after they've seen some currier races etc so would rather avoid a Soho one.
Think I'm going to have to join the East Drinks soon seeing as it's at my local pub now.
