I've got one from around the same year, the fork blades are 531, but the frame itself is plain gauge (26.8mm seatpost), just fyi like. Solid frame though, my favourite bike.

Hi, thanks for the info,
It's actually the opposite collies to yours, it's green/blue with orange bands.
The first year they did this colour was 72. -

not full 531 , just forks . same as my 1972 freddie grubb frame but in poorer condition and for that reason i'm out ....

I have a 1972 holdsworth equipe frame for sale,
It is still in original paint and due to it's age it needs a fresh coat of colour,
It's a 56cm square frame with a 68mm English bb, it has front facing horizontal dropouts so plenty of room for adjustment for singlespeed/fixed.
It's made from 531 and is pretty light.
