  • Eye Culture don't process colour slide film. They send it off but I can't remember where the guy said it goes off to. It didn't work out anywhere near as good value as a colour negative process and scan in any case. They do prints, not sure about costs though. 35mm scans come back at approx 1500px by 1000px. Not exactly high-res but it's definitely cheaper than your high street options!

  • And the dude there is super nice. Unless they fold I'll be going back there time and time again.

  • Snowdonia National Park

  • Beautiful.

  • ta!

  • Alfie

  • Aaawwwwwwwwww.......

** decides now wants cat, not dog, specifically cat like Alfie.... .**

  • That cat image is superb Casp! But you'll need to reload the Snowdonia image as its not showing properly.
Maybe use normal jpg file redirects? Because your S3Amazon links look very convoluted.

    EDIT:
All better now. It may have been my 'puter that was misbehaving.

    how does one do that?

  • Snowdonia National Park

  • Hey Casp, what camera/lens/film you using? Loving the cat photo by the way. :]

  • Casp - love the cat and frosty ground.

Anyone here print their own colour RA4? I go to Photofusion, it's the only place i know of, just curious if there's anywhere else - or anyone do colour print at home? Trays or machine?

  • DIY pinhole 6x9, printed at Photofusion

film wise i will have a look for you.

  • Clifton Bridge Nottingham

  • where do you get your films developed?
I'm bringing a med format and need somewhere I can speak to people with advice.

  • i bet that's a lovely print. (the bridge image)
it's good to see a decent print from a properly exposed and developed negative with a long toe and shoulder. (that's if it is film, either way it's a great image)

there a guy that does my films and he is used by a lot of the uni students. He really is very good and he is an amazing printer too.

i will pass on the address to you or show you where he is...

  • Ive tried to see if this has been asked before, and Im sure it has, but I just cant find it.

Whereaboutsis the cheapest place in London for getting film developed and printed? Ive heard of somehwere near brick lane thats meant to be cheap but surely theyd have inflated prices for all the cool kids around there?

Jessops is pretty cheap if your just getting c41 6x4 prints. Results vary depending on shop. Holburn store has a good lab. Personally wouldn't trust snappy snaps again after varying results.

Black and white developing can be done cheaply at home.

Thanks means a lot as i am a fan of your stuff. It is film but is in fact a composite of two different images.

    lol upsetting the purists. :-)
i stitch stuff and change things around and have even put derelict buildings from one country into a landscape of another to get the image i want.

    i heart CS5
