The front one is a Nitto M-18 - my vintage bar bag sits on mine and its v.nice. I would scrap the rear one (Nitto R-17 model??) as they can be quite flexy. Get a Tubus or Carradice saddle clip thing.

Ok... Question for forumengers.
Is it preferable to have a rack mounted to your fork or mounted to your frame?
I want to build a winter/ shopper bike sometime soon so I want to know opinions on one versus the other. Stability, strength, weight distribution? What do we reckon?

pretty sure this has been delt with extensively across the forum, but anyway...
Frame is better than fork bc it doesn't fuck your steering.
Rack at the front looks cool and it's harder for ppl to steal stuff from behind you at traffic lights.
I'd just have a rear rack/caridice if I was being sensible.
Got to ask (and this goes to all the front rack crew), how far away are your shops? And how much shopping do you have?
Oh this thread and this one haz info
Sorry if anyone was expecting an amazing pair of tits. In all serious though. Looking for a front and rear rack in a similar style to this -
Any help would be appreciated.
And here's some more nice racks - http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=19479
