What a smashing ambassador for the Catholic faith.
A gouty bigot. My favourite kind.

If I had the money I'd pay people twice the amount to stay away from that Hyde Park shindig this weekend. The Vatican is a backward institution that the world could do with out.

+1, I have a great dislike for Heathrow, what a dump
-

To be fair, Heathrow is the fifth busiest airport in the world, so I'm not entirely surprised that it's not exactly a great place to be in.
some of the nicest airport I've been to are far from congested, like in Lima, Peru (ironically a 3rd world country).

He said: "Even in our own lifetimes we can recall how Britain and her leaders stood against a Nazi tyranny that wished to eradicate God from society and denied our common humanity to many, especially the Jews, who were thought unfit to live.
There's a slight difference in not believing a God and exterminating other religion but their own (Christian).

On radio 4 this morning they said "the pope will be greeted by the queen on his arrival in scotland" and I had a mental picture of her maj standing in the airport, holding a bit of cardboard with "pope" written on it.
Made me chuckle to myself all the way to work. -

Well if he owns roads then technically, it's probably true... I certainly don't pay tax to anyone to use their private roads...
