    Agreed, but the deviation from the standard ruleset is usually relatively minimal.

    Changing how goals are scored is a massive thing. Look what happened with the ESPIs, it was always going to be the case with the BFF and was exacerbated by the fact the ESPI rules were posted in advance of signup, the BFF rules weren't. I live in London and to be honest, right now, I don't think that I can even be bothered travelling the 5.9miles to this tournament.

    I get that people want fun polo. But allowing shuffles isn't polo. Allowing people to drag a ball through a net isn't fun. There's no skill required and it changes the fundamentals of the game. London's better than that and to be honest, we should be setting an example to younger polo scenes. Demonstrating the standard that Polo can be played to, not dumbing down the game for shits and giggles. Seriously, why not just leave the ball and mallets out and play British Bulldogs on bikes. Last team standing wins. It's fun right?

    At least having mixed teams which inherently remove some of the older standard lineups is fun without changing the actual game.
