Assos made high end, high quality, gorgeous bike components in the early 80's
The rims were big with time trialists in the States because they were super narrow, but narrow tires to match were difficult to find.
The perforated Assos logo seats were popular as well.
Other components, including pedals, are pretty rare and hard to come by.
Quite collectable.
