    ;)

Kev, was there still an art installation on level 5 when you went to the car park?

    Under "Some Exhibitions"
BOLD TENDENCIES III (30 June - 30 September, 11am-10pm Thurs to Sun)

  • I won't be coming down, with the fading light, I'll get more polo in if I stay NE, as I won't be able to make it down to Camberwell before 6:30/7 at the earliest.

    Have fun.

  • I won't make it until 6:30 but will swing by even if it's only for the last bit as I'm eager to give it a go. Will there be loaner mallets knocking around?

  • Yep, mallets and a bike so no worries.
We should be ok until 8.30 / 9pm.

  • Any thoughts on the car park? According to all the info it's only on thursday-sunday and on level 10 of the car park, I have no idea where its at but if someone sends me a googlemap link, I can have a look on my way down to quorn road.

  • That's the bar on the roof terrace. I was my understanding that there's an art installation right in the middle of where we play polo until the end of Sept.

I'll swing by at 5pm unless anyone else can do so sooner?

  • So are people going for 5.30pm at Quorn Rd then?

  • Yep, unless it's pishing down, and if the latter, then at Peckham CP if there's no art installation.

    Don't forget my forks ;)

  • TNRC for me this eve.

think Charco or someone was bringing some balls to the court today ...
may I have one reserve for me, please? much appreciate it.

want to practise some shots to rusty cans in my back garden, can't wait.

  • im out tonight guys
    its rainey where i am
and i haz no train money
    and i have homework
and this year i have to do my homework
but i'm down next week, we need quornstars practice joni

  • Yes quite.

I'm just home, i need to fix my brake. Anyone there at 6pm ish?
    It's not too bad outside...

  • Fuck it man I'm still going.

Felix, i reckon I might need to pull out of the team... I don't know enough about how much time it is likely to take up, and I'm working 6 days a week until 8pm, I don't wanna let you guys down further down the line! So, next week, we should talk!

  • Also, there's a bike outside my flat that is always locked up where it is now, but currently is not locked up and the wheel is jammed, I am guessing the cones went and this guy just thought "fuck it". I have left a note around the lampost it's leaning against asking whose it is, then bought the bike into my flat.

Does anybody know the ins-and-outs of claiming a bike THAT WASN'T LOCKED. All the threads find are dealing with ones that are locked but clearly abandoned. This one was in use as little as a week ago as it normally switches the direction it's parked in... It would make an ideal poloframe as it's actually in my size, and made out of gaspipe.

  • Good lad. Does Joe need the loaner?
    I won't bring it unless I hear.
Could do with a hand if you're swinging by James?
    Kev's coming still.
I need to fix my brake but might do it courtside.

  • Me and joseph will swing by to help get loaner to the court.

  • Top lad. I'll PM you my number in case you don't haz it. ETA?

  • .... Won't be able to make it down now. (well i could but it wont be worth it). Still haven't left work so won't get there until about 7.30/8 by which time I will have half an hour play before it is dark. and I also forgot my A to Z so will prob get lost on route.....

As an asside. Does anyone know the players who were knocking a ball around nr hampstead garden suburb the sunday just gone (or any other players who live up that way)? Would be nice to have a few people/places closer to home to practice with. NE is ok to get to but think It'll be a bit daunting!

    Cheers

  • leaving now! So, 6.05pm to yours, 6.15 court?

    we're walking.

  • Yo. Dean's helping me now so no need matey! See you court side.

  • anyone else that's wet?

  • very.

  • But it was so worth it! Nice one guys, you know you're a polo addict when you're still playing in the pissing rain.

  • and that is a FACT

  • That rain was 'ardcore. Was glad to be under the tree.
