i had a really nice old (late 90's) carbon trek rd bike that had quite alot of scratches etc so i thought i would ratty it up some more. i like the idea of having a bike that looks like a piece of junk but is actually a really lite quick bike. i gave it a good servicing and then took of all the decals and gave it a really lite sand just down through the top layer of paint to the base coat and then gave it a really thin washy spray paint job. looks quite cool in a way but also def made it look less valuable was not stolen. anyway just an idea
