Meet mid-morning at Hyde Park Corner, ride a scenic 25miles to Thorpe Park, dick about, ride 25miles to London, end up in a pub.
The proposed date for this social jaunt is a so-called Fright Night, which means the place is open till 10pm. I imagine the nocturnal setting will enhance the effect of some rides to a shit-your-pants level. There are 2for1 tickets available for this date, working out at £20pp, but they need to be booked in pairs before the 1st October. Therefore, the general idea is to wait until the last minute, check the weather forecast and then pair-up for booking.
