Saturday morning, up early to meet Krisz at the Cyclelab + Juice Bar on Pitfield St at 6.30 our friend Gary also finally showed up closer to 7am. The 3 of us then road to St Albans and back holding a fiesty 33kph average with a short coffee and toast break in St Albans then ragged it back in order to get Krisz back in time to open up at 10am.
Great ride with good company the only down side was getting fucking dreched by the unforecast rain. Even recieved a cracking recovery smoothy once returned to the shop.
Sunday, not up quite so early but still saw many walks of shame*. This time just 2 of us riding from north London out through Crystal Palace on on into north Kent taking in the Pilgrims Way, Toys Hill, Bough Beech, Ide Hill and then the Bastard (Brastead Hill) before heading home. Only had a defective computer so no idea of mileage or speed but the weather more than made up for the drenching the day before.
