I'll swing by and see if there is any at Newington Causeway.

I've only got about 18" and was hoping to make 2 more mallets with my remaining ski poles which would only leave enough for 1 person. Hopefully they'll be some at the workers stockpile otherwise you can 1v1 for it...

I've also emailed in a report of the lights not working, figured the more people who complain the quicker it might get done. Got a ref number and supposedly will take 3 days. We'll wait and see but maybe with some luck it will be next week.

Sandy, we have a contact at the council whom we liaise with. By we I mean the polo community, and this was obtained through Kev whom has spend months dealing with them about the lights at Newington.
I don't think it would be advantageous to bombard them with requests, so I'd say if anyone else was thinking of doing this, then maybe hold off for the time being.
I'll continue with Kev's recourses but if this proves fruitless then we could look at other avenues.

Having said that, summer is pretty much over and I expect a return to Peckham carpark for the inclement weather days.

Wicksie, where did you play in the car park? I was there yesterday, couldnt see a particularly 'fenced' off section, where the ball wouldnt be constantly rolling away.

Yeah I still have the contact number you gave me to use.

Peckham carpark, level 5, the flat bit.

There aren't any fenced off bits but there are 'sides', so the ball can shoot off through one end of the goal.
Polo has been happening there for many years so it's fine.

Yeah going to be there at 5.30! Can't wait to finally be running 32x20 gears. Going to be good not using 75+GI, although ride home is going to be kinda slow.

Should have more pipe than i need coming in on 25th, so if anyone needs some, it's there!
