I guess theep HTA is to compensate for zero-ish mm fork offset.
With regular HTA, the trail would have been too much/big/large/whatever...
Again, I recommend Mike Burrows bike design book.
The resultant trail might be spot on TBH. But rider weight distribution is going to be less than ideal for rough stuff (I'm guessing). A slacker HTA would likely afford you more comfort from the rigid Ti fork too.
