Hmmm, ill be on campus at kingston from the end of the month, not sure how much i wanna commute there and back on the polo bike....possibly though.

So that's 9, plus others to be persuaded. Anyone know any potential courts? Or, more importantly, a good pub to meet in?

I have been absent for a bit. Moving from Surbiton to Isleworth but yeah I am still down for this.
Have insane Chris Hoy gearing at the minute and no lock ring remover so need to get one and swap my cogs around, but sling me a PM if this happens and if I can lend a mallet off any one that would be sweet.

right, well i have a couple more that would be interested so its just a matter of setting a time and place, and getting together mallets, i reckon i can get a load to borrow of which i can bring, as long as i have sufficient notice, i might do a little reccy around kingston town centre (ish) to see if i can find some courts next week some tiem

I've got 3 mallets crumb, uv got 2 havnt u? 1 more and were all good to go. Not sure on courts though but I think there's one 3 mins cycle from station, I'll google map and see

Two potential courts there, though it does look like one of those may belong to the football club or whatever it is that is near it. Will go check the other one out in the week.

I should say that if you street view near the one on the right, you can see that there is a newer bit built nearer the road that has fences and goals.

went on a little reccy today, and this was the best thing i found in all of richmond, teddington twickenham etc.
i got a fair few people in richmond who wanna play, and this was the best place that didnt look like security would kick us out
i was thinking about mondays? starting next week possibly, so i could go and collect loaner mallets etc.

Yeah i'm up for it, I live in Worcester Park so a bit of a trek for me too! Monday and Thursday are both fine for me. Never played before so don't have a suitable bike so would anyone mind letting me have a go on theirs before I commit to getting a bike and then realising that I am terrible?

all i need is another cog and im ready to go.
i bought a unicrap off my mate, its kinda average, but it bought it for 50 quid and it has a thomson stem and sugino messenger cranks, i wacked on some bmx platforms, me JOL straps and a decentish front wheel, and a concor.
il dig out me back brake and im sorted! (apart from a larger cog)
saying all this though, i've never played polo in my life, i have played hockey though, outfield and in goal for a long time.

alot of people going to this will never have played before...

TBH i havent looked, Im studying in Kingston, not living there, and its a fucking mission and a half to get there on the polo bike at all, let alone spend time I cant spare searching for courts, soz.

im gonna have anther lil go tomorrow, but not too hopeful
