hmmm I'm using specialized sonoma for a couple of years already - apart from being bit dirty they're fine, just torn a tad around the edge (where the upper material connects to the inner) + sole worn down a bit on the heel area. I walk in them a lot though, sometimes I get to work and stay in them all day without changing. And its suede upper and no synthetic shit :)
One more advantage: they have straps, so no lacing, quick to change, straps still working perfectly
However I got bit bored of the look of them so thinking of buying some other shoes next but what too choose? Anyone knows of somethink that works good and looke pretty ordinarily or casually?
Liked some Mavic shoes (Tempo or Razor) but read some reviews on the net and some ppl said the stitches came off after a week of use and that.. hmm -

Anyone any idea what these Shimano shoes are called? They seem 600-era SPD shoes. (unfortunately not my size)

Man, I see people riding with flip flops and sandles all the time. People are just mental.
Last year I had minor go at a couple on the Kings Road both riding with flips flops. The lady in this pair managed to lose one of her flip flops at a junction. Causing both to stop to recover said flip flop. I did laugh at the time, but only slightly.

I would ban Uggs, Crocs and flip-flops.
Not for any reason except my incredible misanthropy.
I would also ban 'rare' sneakers, anything with more the 3 colours on it, white shoes, running shoes for anything but running and basically everything else. FUCK shoes, fuck them.

Just started using the Sixsixones. They do feel a touch heavier when riding but don't really weigh any more than any other skate shoe. They have a solid sole which transfers all your energy, they're comfy to walk in and look alright, even better when they get a bit grubby... even though some workmates said they look like shoes for 'special' people....
I wouldn't go that far! My bike is comfy enough, end of.
Silly argument as it will soon be in pieces anyway..
