THE WAPPING PROJECT BOOKSHOP POST
I am looking for the right person to join the Wapping team and run the bookshop while Lydia Fulton, the present Mistress of the Bookshop, is on maternity leave.
The post will suit a freelancer or post graduate student (any art form) who could do with a rent free office to work from, loves books, is inspired by The Wapping Project, and who has a strong sense of self. There is a lot of freedom to express your own voice and to take the bookshop off into fresh avenues.
The bookshop is open on Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday and Saturday night and Sundays. Usually one of those sessions is covered by a part-timer (to be discussed). Usual holiday entitlements apply. The post is paid on a pro- rata basis, taking the 40 hour week as a mean and other benefits include discounts on all purchases and staff discounts in the The Wapping Project’s restaurant.
