Funny. As a genuine glasses wearer, the trend for frames minus lenses baffles me. My money's on crutches being the next 'must-have', particularly when you don't need them, closely followed by those caliper jobs which pin your shattered legs in place, because they're just so shiny and dashing. Medical chic.

Sounds weird, but I've always liked the idea of one of those high tech prosthetic legs. Of course losing a leg would be shit, but those things look awesome...and detachable. My mother tells me (reliably?) that they would hurt like hell.
