As a short sighted person from age 8 years, one of my biggest annoyances as a youngster was seeing actors wearing glasses with non-prescription lenses in...to me, it was like they were sticking two fingers up to me....'look...I can see perfectly well, but am wearing glasses....and I don't even have to....'
