according to sheldon (r.i.p) any 6/7 spd shimano hyperglide freehub will work apart from ones from very very early hubs that don't have that bulge on their right side just before the spoke flange. just to be nerdy, 8/9 spd freehubs and i asssume 10spd as well, are also compatible but you'd have to redish the wheel.
I have a fair amount of stuff for swapsies if you find something but am not expecting to pay very much for this. (a brand new whole hub which i can use the freehub off, would only be 20ish quid).

I've got a brand new freehub rotor just pulled off a set of RS30 wheels you can have for whatever it costs to get it to you. Where are you?

Consider the way those freehubs engage on the hub shell: they're not all the same. I know three patterns.
Those old ones have a steel "star" pressed in the shell, and the freehub has notches machined inside.
As far as I remember, you can fit an 8sp freehub (have to find the model) and change to a longer axle. Needs a 130mm frame too ;)
Hello!
Desperate for a freehub to make the bike i have found for a mate work, it's the kind of thing that you might find in a skip, but if anyone knows of or has: a wheel with one of these hubs, one of these hubs, one of these freehubs, or a any of the former that would work, please let me know.
And no, we can't persuade my mate to ss the bike.
Cheers! Tom
