Glad you got it, Jamie. All it needs is retention, post and saddle, bartape, wheels and chain right?
Sweet.
And I has all these. For the time being Im just going to swap as much as I can off the fauxser. Need to respace my rear hub though. Anyone know if theres anywhere I can get a 120 goldtech axle in London, or is ordering from betd the only answer?

Hi all
Saw a Rumpus .... thought I would add mine. Had mine repainted in a dark matt grey and added Deep V Rims. Great for tricks and bar spins

Different body proportion, if the stem is flipped, my body proportion look like I'm on a pursuit bike.
Plus the saddle to bar drop is only 7cm.
Oh right, short arms?

Sorted, many thanks to the Bike Whisperer for making it so ugly, it's super comfty to ride;
Function over form is a good thing and besides, looks are taken care of by having a colnago in the first place.
Is the saddle tilting back very slightly or is it the photo angle?

Slightly nose-up is normal for pro riders, plus his pelvis won't be rotated forward as much as somebody with a normal saddle to bar drop.

Fixie - are those rims turquoise, or white reflecting the ground? I love that celeste green colour.
My current project is building a single speed from a lovely 1950s Hobbs of Barbican frame. The frame came with a double crankset when I bought it, and I'm thinking about using it anyway to save money. Has anyone tried setting up a SS on a double crankset? Any problems?
-
• #34640
No problem once you sort the chainring, personally I would removed the inner chainring.
-
• #34641
I think the only problem would be getting zero props from other SS owners (not a real problem)
but please do not take my word as fact -
• #34642
Sweet, thanks guys. Good news.
As for props - I will just have to overcome this limitation with my MAD SKILLZ.

Oh right, short arms?
short chest, everything else is normal, the top tube is 55cm.
an idea frame for me would be a 57-55 c-t-c.
ahead stem is simply because those shallow drop handlebar doesn't exist beyond 31.8.
