by braking rules i actualy ride safer, turning right on a cross junction i sometimes just cut on the path use the crossing and hop on the road again when the cars passed, if i go on the road some drivers want to get somewhere 2 seconds faster so they cut me up or drives past a few inches from me, i dont have a engine i cant ride like car...
my area isnt quite like london, i have to ride abit different, no way im following rules to just get hit or constant close calls, mite aswell get a moped...
Sound like you just don't have the skills to cope with riding where you do so you resort dodgy manoeuvres. It's true you might not employ the same techniques as riding in central London but but they while the same as riding in some other part of London due to the diversity of the nature of the traffic in London. None of these areas of require riding as you describe. Perhaps you could describe the environment in which you think is so different and why you can't cope with it.
