For Sale: Cinelli hairnet helmets

have just come into some of these helmets overseas, different colours,
black, white, lylac/violet, silver.
i will put a picture up asap.

i wanted to know whether anyone would be interested in buying any. I can bring them back to london in three weeks.

are they actualy any good for riding? im guessing boxing helmits are just padded, i dont want padded brain dammage...

Then the style evolved and the ring of leather around the head was supplemented by strips of leather arranged longitudinally on the head. When I started racing in the 70's we called them "hairnets" and the nicest ones were made in Italy of beautiful soft leather.

this is a quote from a website, these helmets were mainly used on the track.

they are old school and pretty cool, maybe not the best protection available. Then again they are Tom Ritcheys choice of protection!

I would love one, but have only been able to find them in tiny sizes in the past. Do you have access to some that are around 64cm?

Sizes, there are two sizes, i cant see a cm size. There is 8 and 9? im not sure how big this is.
mr tom if u have a particularly big head i dont think they would work, but ill look into a bigger size.

Can't get much more retro chic that that for head wear though, short of papier mache.

I'm interested but can you guide me on the sizing? i.e. have you worked out for eg if 8 = ?? cm and 9 =??cm if I measure..as I have been lead to believe..around the circumferance of my head..above my ears..I get 55-56ish...how does this size up with what you have there?
