To be fair, if I could have been arsed to travel up to fetch it then I would have kept quiet about the "Concorpe", bought it for pennies, split it, cleaned it all up and sold it all for a nice profit. When I stuck it on the Ebay thread that is exactly what I expected would happen. Probably would have got more than JohnnyRau did too. If the seller won't do a few minute's research or read the label on their bike then they cannot expect to get a decent price. At least by putting it on the Ebay thread I probably got the seller a few more quid.
I wouldn't claim freecycle stuff and sell it though. That is low.
Ebay probably take a dim view of people using multiple accounts. Any record of shill bidding at all?
